Mustard Chicken

Chicken is a good source of protein and micronutrients like selenium, iron, creatine, etc.
Mustard Chicken
INGREDIENTS
      1. Chicken, cut into small pieces                   1 Kg
      2. Mustard seeds                                              125 gms
      3. Corn flour                                                      100 gms
      4. Garlic                                                              50 gms
      5. Fresh Red chillies                                         50 gms
      6. Capsicum [any colour], cut into pieces    100 gms
      7. Worcestershire sauce                                  25 ml
      8. Vinegar                                                           sufficient to soak mustard seeds
      9. Salt                                                                 to suite your taste
    10. Sugar                                                              ¾ tablespoon
    11. Cooking oil                                                     sufficient for frying
    12. Pepper [preferably white pepper]             a pinch

METHOD
1. Soak the mustard seeds in vinegar for 8 to 10 hours in a bowl.
Marinate Chicken pieces
 
2. Grind the mustard seeds to make paste in a blender.
 
3. Marinate the chicken pieces in the mustard paste, mix with salt, sugar, corn flour and little water for half an hour.
      




Fry Chicken pieces
4. Heat some oil in a frying pan, and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces.
      
5. Heat about 2 tablespoons of oil in another pan.

6. Add garlic, fresh red chillies, fried chicken pieces, capsicum pieces, sugar and Worcestershire sauce.
     
7. Saute for few seconds, add pepper and toss well.
